Bokbloggarna och litteraturkritiken

"I think there is a major problem [...] in that the media manages to talk about books in a way that goes over the heads of the vast majority of people", skriver independentförläggaren Catheryn Kilgariff apropå den traditionella litteratur-kritiken i tidningar och tidskrifter i The Bookaholic's Guide to Book Blogs. "There has to be a way of encouraging the reading of books which is more democratic, fair and not full of intellectual concerns that pull people off."

Kilgariffs lösning på problemet är – naturligtvis – bokbloggen. Har hon rätt? Fortsättning och den rafflande upplösningen följer förhoppningsvis i min magisteruppsats.
